10 shots
Low angle
This shot is covered from the lower. I tried to capture his face and the outer regions of the scene.
Long shot
The long shot was pretty easy to shoot. I tried to capture the subject walking across the bridge. I made sure to include the whole bridge for depth. POV
This shot was easier than most. Though, it was hard acting and filming. This shot depicts a first person POV.
Medium
This shot is from the knees up.
Pan shot this shot included a wide expansion of a scene. It was difficult to keep my hand still while videoing.
Reaction
This shot was probably the easiest to shoot considering it was a simple shot. It just included work from the actor.
Over shoulder shot
This shot included a conversation like, over the shoulder shot.
Full shot
This shot was a shot of the full person from head to toe. This was the hardest shot to shoot due to the fact that the camera had to be so low.
Head on shot
High angle
I didn’t have much difficult with any of these shots except the pan shot. It was really hard to keep a consistent, straight movement across the scene. Regarding the others, angling was pretty difficult. For example, with the low angle shot and POV shot, the angling was pretty awkward. It as also really hard to record and interact with the scene at the same time.
The first shot I liked from this blog was the high angle shot, I really like how it set the scene of where the people were talking and it portraied what they were doing very well. I also liked your reaction shot as the acting was amazing and showed how scared he got as his reaction. The third shot I really liked was your pan shot as it did a very good job in showing the environment and vibe of that part of the school.
ReplyDeleteI liked your POV shot, since it felt like I was the one saying hi to Jason. I liked your reaction shot, Tyler was a great actor and really nailed the "oh shoot!" surprised role. Your casting job is impeccable. I think your head-on shot id DEFINATELY your best. Great acting, amazing shit, energetic subject. I think I could watch that video on a loop, it was so good.
ReplyDeleteShot #9: This is a head-on shot. I really like this shot. It really did feel like she was trying to kill me (or the cameraman). This is the sort of stuff people are too scared to watch with 3D glasses at the theater. Genuinely though, really energetic subject, almost too happy to run at the camera and smack it. This shot makes me feel like I'm watching a friend playfully hit another friend.
ReplyDeleteShot #6: This is the reaction shot. It feels like a friend was spacing out and then got caught off guard by the presence that was next to them the whole time. It's the sort of stuff you see in movies as comic relief, which is why I think and feel this one is pretty funny.
Shot #3: I think this is one of the most impressive shots, it moves a lot like your head would really making it seem like I'm looking through their eyes/perspective. So much so that it's honestly almost a little creepy. So if I were to describe it, I feel cool/creepy from watching this one.
