Shot reaction

I watched Loren and Uriel’s video. I  liked the POV shot and the extreme close up shot. In the extreme close up shot, I felt very intimate with the actor (Khang). It showed that he was important when regarding the scene. The POV shot allowed for me to feel as if I was in Uriel’s shoes, which was really cool. I liked the eye level shot and the high angle shot. These are both classic shots in film. The eye level shot made me feel like I was personally talking with Mia (the actor). The high angle shot made me feel that Emma, the actor, is important and that she is the important part of the scene.

I tried to capture the subject walking across the bridge. I made sure to include the whole bridge for depth.  POV  This shot was easier than most. Though, it was hard acting and filming. It just included work from the actor.  Over shoulder shot  This shot included a conversation like, over the shoulder shot.  Full shot  This shot was a shot of the full person from head to toe. This was the hardest shot to shoot due to the fact that the camera had to be so low.  Head on shot This shot inc...

First Vlog Post

Make a first post on your blog which tells why you are taking this class and what you hope to  get out of it.  Most importantly, I am hoping to get a the AICE diploma by taking this class. But most importantly, I want the expansive knowledge of this new form of literature and to be able to dissect films and shows and possibly be able to create my own. I want to compose music for films and other visual media when I am older so this does give me a look into what that could look like in a way.
